Private Hire

The Wellington Social Club has a large high ceilinged room with it’s own large dance floor, stage, lighting and seating for any private event. The staff and venue is very flexible and can advise you on any requirements regarding layout, lighting, bar staff and food etc.. The Club is Ideal for any event or celebration with the perfect stage setting for a disco or live band.

Cost

We require a £100 deposit to secure the date required refundable if there are no breakages.

And £175 balance to be paid a month before the hire date.

The cost includes Private use of hall, bar staff, and door staff.

Entertainment: The Welly has excellent facilities for Disco's or live bands which must be organised and paid for separately however staff may be able to assist and advise you with any local contacts for the above.

Drinks: The Function room bar offers draft lager, cider, wine, spirits and bottle beer. If you have any specific requests the manager would be happy to discuss this with you.
PLEASE NOTE: The bar has both cash and card options.

Food: The club has not got the facilities to provide food however staff would be happy to advise you of any local contacts..

Decoration: The Club has built in lighting to assist you with setting the atmosphere of the evening. As with any Function room, it really becomes positively alive with decoration and it is very much encouraged. If you prefer a more minimal look, then you have the ideal space! Early access for decoration can be arranged.

Timings: The bar will be open from 7pm until 11pm giving your guests enough time to finish the night in a relaxed atmosphere, with the disco/entertainment coming to an end at 11.30 pm.

Access: The room is accessed by double doors near the main entrance and is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

Children: Must be kept under supervision at all times.
